New captain of Tullio CC Bristol

I’m quite stoked about this one!! Several years ago, I tried to get a cycling club off the ground called Bizcycle. The concept is that it’s business networking, on a bike. BUT…with a baby, a business, another business, and the fact that it’s like hearing cats whenever you do anything business/networking related, it was pretty tough to get off the ground.

I mothballed it with the intention of one day re-igniting the idea, and I recently started thinking about how it could work within the B2B eCommerce Community.

Whilst going up my longest ever climb – in Lanzarote – I got to thinking about how I would revive the idea.

I remembered how much effort it was, the extra marketing load, the planning, compliance et al and thought to myself – “do you know what? I’m just going to find one and join one”.

And I found Tullio CC. A club that had been set up recently in the last 12 months, doing exactly what I wanted. The difference for Dom, the founder, though, was that he also had a keen cycling business partner.

The trouble now – no Bristol ride out. And thus the middle ground was born.

So today I am super excited to be kicking off as captain of Tullio CC South West (for now) and bringing and being able to throw myself into another business meets community project.
